TV DRAMA

TV DRAMA
Dramatic programming is television content that is scripted and (normally) fictional. This excludes, for example, sports, news, reality and game shows, stand-up comedy and variety shows. Also, by convention, the term is not generally usually used for situation comedy or soap opera. TV Drama is an entertaining experince because programmes are often intense and recieve a lot of emotional response from audience as viewers often get attached to characters and can relate to their situations.

a simular theme is conlict, in all of these formats there is usually a problem that either gets resolved or continues. There is also a huge sense of reality in all of these programmes which is noticable to viewers.

                              MISFITS
What techniques enhance our viewing experience and create realism?
watch this opening clip of Misfits...
Misfits uses the stereo-types of young troubled teenagers in london.
There is a realistic plot which involves good dialogue and gender representations. The male characters seem strong and often comfort the girls.
Match on action is used to show the boys fits and actions of their fight this enhances emotions and facial expression so as an audience it seems realistic and we can relate to the situation.Throught the fight there is a good rythm as the camera shows each characters eye line as they are standing on the same level.
